canada pension at age 65?

i don't have a private pension plan....now 63 yrs old....would i be eligible for cpp plus old age security or some other supplement at age 65 and if i continue to work will it affect my pension income?? ...

  1. Yes at 65 you are eligible for CPP and OAS: http://www.hrsdc.gc.ca/eng/isp/pub/factsheets/retire.shtml http://www.servicecanada.gc.ca/eng/isp/oas/oastoc.shtml You must apply to receive benefits. Once you start receiving your CPP pension, you can work as much as you want without affecting your pension amount. However, you cannot contribute to the CPP on any future earnings from employment.
