Pension funds, I requested fund from my pension plan over 4 months ago and still have not recieved them?

I quit my job in November of 2009 I requested the money ou of the fund in February of 2010. The manager of the fund told me I would have the check within a month, after 6 weeks I called back because I hadn't recieved the check. He said it would take another two weeks. I continue to call and always the samething, It is now the middle of June, how long legally do they have to get me my money?

1. Pension or a 401K? Keep after it - send a certified letter requesting your funds to your home. This will help you in the future in case you decide to take legal action. Get that letter typed tonight. /
